Born in Rockville, Maryland, bred in Austin, Texas, and buttered in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Maya is now a Chicago-based artist where she is living post graduation from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.

Music was Maya’s first love. Having a pianist as a mother and a guitarist as a father, it was inevitable she would inherit the same musical gene. As a child, you could often catch Maya twirling around to Mozart in her favorite tutu.

After experimenting with soccer, the swim team, and even horseback riding, Maya knew the music’s calling was undeniable. After seeing her best friend perform in Annie Jr., Maya knew she was destined for the stage.

In addition to working as a performing artist, Maya is also a 200 HR certified yoga instructor. In her free time, you may find her teaching a hot yoga class, crocheting a new accessory, or practicing her latte art skills.
